The major hotels all have astounding displays of fresh flowers, and this is the market where most of them come from. The market takes place. where the Chao Phraya River meets the Khlong Lawt, one of the city’s major canals. This is Thailand’s largest fruit, vegetable and flower market and you need to be here at 2am to watch the boats and trucks arrive laden with produce. The sights and smells are worth the early-morning visit.
